Matt glazes give a contemporary finish to your glaze project. The more subtle nature of the glaze finish allows your ware (or the ceramic shape) to stand out. Can be used together with our Bright transparent glazes to give contrast to your design. When mixed with Bright it will give a satin look. When fired at top range temperature the Matt look will be more satin. If mixed with the Vibes there will be a magic effect.

Matt glazes give a contemporary, subtle finish to your work. When fired at top range temperature the glazes will look more semi- matt.
Basic application. Stir well. Brush, sponge or stamp. Apply 2-3 layers depending on the desired result. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next coat.
Tips. Glaze can be intermixed to increase the colour palette. Mix with Bright for a satin look. Mix with Vibes for a magic effect.
Try out the glaze in your kiln on your clay body. (The choice of clay body, thickness of glaze application, combination of glazes, the firing process and temperature will affect the fired results.)
